Buses (Metro Transit): Regular bus service. 

Government offices: City, state, county and federal offices closed.

Libraries: All Pikes Peak Library District branches open regular hours.

Postal Service: Office closed and no mail service.

Public schools: Some school districts closed; check individual districts.

The Gazette: Open regular hours.

Malls, major department and grocery stores: Most open regular hours

Veterans Day events and programs — Many local schools are having programs and events to teach students about Veterans Day. Check with individual schools for programs open to the public.

Pass Giveaway — Three 20-ride tickets for fixed-route buses and/or Metro Mobility will be given to veterans. Enter drawing with name, rank and branch of service under Veterans Day Giveaway post on facebook.com/mountainmetro   or send email to mmtveterans@gmail.com \. Drawing will take place Tuesday.
