UPDATE: Peyton residents killed in wreck identified

The two people who died in a crash near Falcon were identified Tuesday as Adolfo Narvarte, 57, and Pamela Narvarte, 51, of Peyton.

The Narvartes died Monday when their Ford F-150 truck was struck by a tow-truck driver who allegedly failed to stop at the intersection of Meridian and Garrett roads about 6 p.m., the Colorado State Patrol said. They were not wearing their seat belts, troopers said.

Joshua Preslar was southbound on Meridian Road in a 2007 Sterling flatbed tow truck as the 2001 Ford F-150 was eastbound on Garrett Road, the state patrol said.

Troopers said Preslar, 24, of Colorado Springs, allegedly failed to stop at the intersection and struck the F-150 on its left side, pushing it south on Meridian Road and causing it to spin.

Preslar, who also was not wearing a seat belt, was taken to a hospital with moderate injuries, troopers said.

Trooper Eric Zacahears said no charges have been filed.
