University of Denver security is warning the community about a man who sexually assaulted a female student near campus.

University of Denver security is warning the community about a man who sexually assaulted a female student near campus.

The attack happened around 2:30 a.m. Saturday near East Asbury Avenue and South Josephine Street, according to a news release from DU security.

The suspect approached the woman, touched her inappropriately then followed her and forced her up against a car, the release said. The victim was able to struggle and get away.
