Two injured in fireworks explosion inside Oklahoma home

OWASSO, Oklahoma - The Owasso Police Department are investigating the apparent explosion of a large commercial type fireworks mortar shell inside a home on the north side of their community. 

Firefighters got a call to the home 11500 block of North 131st East Avenue at about 10:30 a.m.  

Police said a man and woman in the home were injured and taken to the hospital.  They said there was a large of amount of gunpowder in the home.  Officers said one of the victims was apparently putting the gunpowder into a large commercial fireworks mortar shell.
