Two Colorado Springs homebuilders are among the nation's top 100 builders, according to a new list compiled by Builder magazine.

The list, released Wednesday and which ranked builders by completed sales in 2017, included Saint Aubyn Homes and Elite Properties of America. Elite does business as Classic Cos. and Classic Homes.

Saint Aubyn ranked No. 67 on the list with 784 closings last year and gross revenues of $292 million, according to Builder. Saint Aubyn ranked No. 71 the previous year.

Classic Homes ranked No. 89 in 2017 with 511 closings and gross revenues of $245 million, Builder said. The previous year, Classic ranked No. 100.

"This year's Builder 100 list is a testament to the success of U.S. builders as they continue their climb back from the lean years of the Great Recession," according to Builder magazine. "Many companies reported hundreds and even thousands more closings in 2017 than the year before."
