Get ready for a new take on the Bard. The new TNT series “Will,” which debuts July 10, will be taking viewers back in time to Elizabethan England to tell the story of a young and wild William Shakespeare. Newcomer Laurie Davidson plays the title role with a mix of veteran actors (Colm Meaney, Ewen Bremner, William Houston) and fresh faces (Jasmin Savoy Brown, Mattias Inwood, Jamie Campbell Brower) rounding out the rest of the cast.

If you view the trailer below, you might get a bit of “A Knight’s Tale” vibe. That’s intentional. The series will have a contemporary style and feature a modern soundtrack. Sounds interesting to me.
