Evangelical Christian Academy def. CIVA Charter 25-3, 25-7, 25-7
At Evangelical Christian Academy: It didn't take much for Evangelical Christian Academy (7-13, 3-6 2A Black Forest League) to move into the next bracket of the District 8 playoffs Tuesday. In three sets, the Eagles beat winless CIVA Charter (0-16, 0-8) without letting the Ravens scored double digits in any set.
For the Eagles, Cambria Steiner and Hope Schaap finished with five kills each, while Leah Bost had 19 assists and five aces. Jessica Childress came up with 19 digs.
CIVA Charter stats were not reported.
Colorado Springs Christian School def. Salida 25-13, 25-13, 25-7
At CSCS: Colorado Springs Christian School (10-9, 9-3 3A Tri-Peaks West League) finished its regular season with a three-and-out win against Salida (2-16, 1-11) in conference action. The Lions haven't dropped a set in the last three games of their season.
Abby Skrastins came up big on attacks with 15 kills for the Lions. She also had 10 digs. Cassie Davis had 19 assists and five aces. Ryley Hoekert had five blocks.

Palmer Ridge def. Woodland Park 25-23, 25-16, 25-14
At Palmer Ridge: Palmer Ridge (11-6, 4-3 4A Pikes Peak League) dusted itself off from two losses in a row to Air Academy and Cheyenne Mountain with a win over visitor Woodland Park (8-10, 5-4 4A CSML) in a nonconference joust.
The Bears' Sierra Parker led the team in kills with nine, and Zoe Wilson had seven. Colleen Dockins served up four aces.
Elle Sample came up with 21 digs for the Bears' defense. Alex Woods finished with 25 assists.
For the Panthers, Carli Vahsholtz had six kills, and Maureen Cummings and Alexa Garrick each had five. Paloma Juarros had 13 assists. Linnea Sauer had 17 digs, while Vahsholtz had 15 and Kaitlyn Smith 13.
Lewis-Palmer def. Ponderosa 25-15, 25-22, 25-18
At Ponderosa: Lewis-Palmer (18-1, 7-0 4A Pikes Peak League) pushed its win streak to eight matches in Parker after beating nonconference host Ponderosa (12-7, 9-2 Continental) in three sets.
Alexa Smith had 14 kills for the Rangers. She also had six digs in back, as did Lydia Bartalo. Abidgail Bartalo had 17 assists, and Mariah Evans had 16.
