VICKSBURG, Miss. (AP) — A tourism workshop planned Aug. 13 in Vicksburg will focus on attracting international tourists to smaller communities.
The session is set for 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Lower Mississippi River Museum, 910 Washington St.
Cost to attend is $25.
The workshop is sponsored by the Miss-Lou Rural Tourism Association and Beacon Consultants. Partners include the Mississippi State University Stennis Institute, MSU Extension Service, Vicksburg Main Street and Mississippi Development Authority.
