Tickets now available for Aug. 17 concert against bullying

Tickets are now available for Colorado Springs’ first Stand Up Speak Out concert to end
bullying.

Sponsored by Falcon School District 49, the event will be held from 3 to 9 p.m. Aug. 17 at Security Service Field and is designed to raise awareness, educate and empower students from across the Pikes Peak region.

Vertical Horizon will headline the concert and will be joined by other singer-songwriters from across the nation. Thirteen-year-old Ashley Berry, an internationally recognized anti-bullying advocate and radio host, also is part of the lineup.

Tickets are $13 for youth 12 years and under, military and seniors; and $15 for adults. They are available online at d49.org or Security Service Field online and box office, http://bit.ly/13gJaMg.
