Free tickets to hear former House Speaker Newt Gingrich speak at Colorado College next month will be available beginning at 8 a.m. Friday, at the front desk of the Worner Campus Center, 902 N. Cascade Ave.
Gingrich, who ran for President in 2012 as a Republican and is a commentator on Fox News, will speak at 7 p.m. Nov. 2, in Armstrong Hall, 14 E. Cache La Poudre St.
One ticket per person will be distributed at no cost, on a first-come, first-served basis.
Gingrich served as speaker of the House of Representatives under President Bill Clinton from 1995 until 1999.
His presentation is part of the Sondermann Presidential Symposium at CC, held every four years before the presidential election. This year's event started Sept. 1 and concludes with Gingrich's talk, bringing an array of political speakers, commentators and analysts.
