Two women and one man have been indicted in an alleged murder-for-hire plot stemming from 2009, the 4th Judicial District Attorney's Office said Thursday.

Tammy Lynn Fritz, 47, Sean Richard Lagoe, 42, and Michelle Kay Heaston, 40, were indicted by a Grand Jury Wednesday on charges including attempted first-degree murder and conspiracy to commit first-degree murder.

Fritz was also charged with solicitation to commit first-degree murder.

According to district attorney's office, the Colorado Springs financial crimes unit investigated the case. No other details were available Thursday.
