Two teenage girls and a 20-year-old man were arrested Wednesday after allegedly leading officers on a brief chase in a car that was reported stolen, Colorado Springs police said. The driver, an underage girl, allegedly did not stop when police attempted to pull her and two passengers over near El Morro Road and Academy Boulevard in southeast Colorado Springs.

An officer pursued the car to the Whitney Young Apartment complex, where the suspects jumped out of the stolen white sedan and fled. The girl and her two passengers, 18-year-old Jakkara Craig and 20-year-old Timothy Hayslett were caught and arrested. Both girls were arrested on suspicion of motor vehicle theft, and the man was arrested on suspicion of obstructing a peace officer.
