In 3A, The Classical Academy has two wins in its final at-bat, beating Jefferson Academy 2-1, then later knocking off Brush, 10-9. Jekyll-Hyde? St. Mary's routed CSCS 17-1, then the next day suffered a 16-1 whitewash at the hands of 4A Mesa Ridge.

Team Record Last Week

1. Pine Creek 4-0 No. 1

2. Rampart 4-1 No. 3

3. Liberty 4-3 No. 2

1. Cheyenne Mountain 3-0-1 No. 1

2. Sand Creek 3-0 No. 2

3. Lewis-Palmer 2-0-2 No. 3

1. Fountain Valley 3-0 No. 2

2. Manitou Springs 3-2 No. 3

3. St. Mary's 2-1 No. 1

Breakdown: We were tempted to drop Liberty out of the rankings after a 1-1 week. But that one loss came to 6-1 Columbine, which has beaten both Green Mountain and Wheat Ridge already this season. ... Lewis-Palmer will show just how much it belongs here after spring break. The Rangers return to play Rampart (April 1), Liberty (April 3) and Windsor (April 5) before opening league play against Palmer Ridge (April 8). Oh, and then they get Cheyenne Mountain two days after that. ... Fountain Valley rises to the top of the class without playing a game last week. That's because Manitou Springs shocked rival St. Mary's 1-0. But the Mustangs also stumbled to a 6-0 loss to Holy Family a couple of days before the rivalry victory. The Danes return from break to start league play April 3 against Rye before a trip to Evangelical Christian Academy, which could conceivably be 6-0 at that point.
