3. Manitou Springs 2-1 No. 3

Breakdown: Pine Creek won the always challenging Warrior Invitational in impressive fashion, outscoring opponents 12-0. Rampart jumps into the rankings after going 3-1 last week. ... Big shift in the 4A ranks, as Sand Creek and L-P take over for Palmer Ridge and Air Academy, respectively. We'll see if it lasts. A nod to Falcon here, too. The Falcons are 3-0 and have skunked each opponent 10-0. They get Pueblo Centennial (3-0) on Thursday. ... If you follow these rankings, specifically girls' soccer, you'll notice no The Classical Academy on the list. Don't expect it to stay that way, but the Titans went 0-3 (including a PK loss to 4A Montrose) at the Kadet Kickoff Classic while playing 4A and 3A schools. How did Fountain Valley leapfrog Manitou Springs? A 4-3 win over the Mustangs on Thursday, that's how. Manitou hosts St. Mary's Friday.
