Jonathan Kopacka, D, Air Force
With just one assist to his name going into the weekend, the senior – who has been in and out of the lineup – tallied three points (2 goals, 1 assist) for Air Force. In the third period Saturday, Kopacka set up Erich Jaeger’s go-ahead goal, then 2:18 later scored his own first of the season off the post in a 3-3 tie. Jordan Himley hit the trailing Kopacka for a shorthanded goal in the second period Sunday, as the Falcons began to climb out of a 2-0 hole and went on to score five straight in a 5-3 win. It was Air Force’s first shorthanded goal of the season and Kopacka’s first in 87 games with the team. He also had three blocked shots during the series finale.

Evan Giesler, F, Air Force
The junior recorded a two-goal game, including the winner, in the victory Sunday, and set up Kopacka’s goal Friday. He took over the team scoring lead.

Matt Koch, D, Air Force
Giesler probably couldn’t have done it without Koch, who set up both of his goals – one a tip, the other a rebound. Koch also set up Erik Baskin with a well-placed  pass from the point on Friday night for three helpers on the weekend.
