A look at this week's area college hockey top performers:

Erik Baskin, F, Air Force

The Falcons’ seniors came to play Friday night against Colorado College, netting all six goals, and half of them came from Baskin for his first career hat trick. He kicked off the scoring 28 seconds into the game and added two insurance goals for a team-leading nine on the season.

Tyler Ledford, F, Air Force

Lost in the shuffle somehow Friday was Colorado Springs native Ledford’s five-point effort (one goal, four assists), easily a career high. He let the Tigers know it really wasn’t going to be their night with a breakaway goal 13 seconds into the second period to make it 4-1.

Tanner Ockey, F, Colorado College

Called a “bright spot” in the 6-3 loss against Air Force by his coach, Ockey found himself in the perfect spot with just over a minute to go in regulation against Merrimack on Saturday. He didn’t hesitate, one-timing a rebound inside the post and lifting his team to a 2-1 win.
