Tyler Ledford, F, Air Force

The long-awaited return of an injured center couldn’t spur Air Force to victory against Niagara, but Ledford jumped right back in on the top line with two assists after a nine-game absence. He had a near-miss as his shot flirted with the goal line on its way across the crease Saturday night.

Alex Mehnert, D, Air Force

The Falcons weren’t proud of their team defense either night. Mehnert, a freshman, was the only Falcon who played both nights and finished with a positive plus-minus, at plus-3. He also assisted on Matt Serratore’s goal in the second period Saturday night.

The junior’s consistent point production continued with a goal and an assist in the weekend series.
