This week: Your calendar of events around Colorado Springs

Here's a look at what's happening around Colorado Springs this week:

- The Colorado Springs Police Department will host a neighborhood and business watch program training class Saturday from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Sand Creek Division, 4125 Center Park Drive. The class is open to the public and free of charge.

- Cheyenne Mountain High School's advanced drawing and painting art show will be held 5:30-7 p.m. Thursday at 2100 Cresta Road, in the fine arts building next to the Lloyd Shaw Auditorium. The event is free and open to the public.

- UCCS will be hosting a talk by Randi Zuckerberg, author of "Untangling Our Wired Lives." She's the sister of the Facebook founder, and once worked there. The event is at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the event center, 1420 Austin Bluffs Parkway. Tickets are $2 for students, $5 for the public.
