The Colorado Springs City Council will hear an update from Stormwater Task Force chairman Dave Munger at its work session, which begins at 1 p.m. Monday in City Hall, 107 N. Nevada Ave. Munger will update the council on the results of an economic impact study and financial analysis. He also will outline the next steps for the task force.

The City Council will host a public hearing on the city's appeal of the Planning Commission's approval that allows people to smoke marijuana in a local business, Studio A64. Under the Planning Commission's approval, smoking would be allowed in the business by its club members. The meeting begins at 1 p.m. Tuesday in City Hall, 107 N. Nevada Ave.

The next Black Forest Fire Long Range Recovery Planning Committee will take place this week. Hazard tree removal will be a focus for the meeting, scheduled to take place from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at The Charles Brown Transportation & Environmental Complex, 3255 Akers Drive. The meetings aim to coordinate the recovery process from the Black Forest fire, which ignited June 11 and killed two people and destroying hundreds of homes.
