Third December kidnapping suspect behind bars

The third suspect in a December kidnapping case was arrested Thursday, according to Colorado Springs police.

Brian Rios Rubalcava, 39, is suspected of holding two men against their will and beating up one of them.

Rubalcavawas already in the El Paso County jail after being arrested on unrelated felony and misdemeanor warrants from 2011 when investigators identified him the kidnapping suspect. He was arrested for warrants that include burglary, attempt to influence a public servant, criminal impersonation and forgery, according to court documents.

The two other kidnapping suspects, Timothy Ray Vigil,42, and Suzanne Cheri Capretz, 39, were arrested in December and January.

Capretz is suspected of coordinated the attack in a Colorado Springs home on the 300 block of South 18th Street. Vigil is suspected of holding the victim at gunpoint while demanding money. The victim suffered a broken hand during the ordeal.
