BOYS' all-Area

1st team

Attack: Mitchell Miller, Air Academy, sr. Scored 49 goals (most in Pikes Peak region), 14 assists

Attack: Sam Sheridan, Cheyenne Mountain, sr. Netted 36 goals on 4A quarterfinalist

Attack: Jake Thornally, Air Academy, so. 47 goals was 4th most in conference

Midfielder/Attack: Sam Horning, Palmer, sr. 34 goals, 20 assists, 5A 2nd team all-state

Midfielder: Drew Chesire, St. Mary's, so. 22 goals, 13 assists, 92 ground balls ranked 7th in 4A

Midfielder: Alex McAfee, Pine Creek, sr. Earned all-league second team honors and had a hand in 40 percent of team's goals

Midfielder: Casey Rothstein, Cheyenne Mountain, sr. 116 ground balls was most in area and tied for 3rd most in 4A, plus tacked on 36 goals and 24 assists

Long-stick Middie: Mitch Reddish, Cheyenne Mountain, jr. 101 ground balls ranked fifth in 4A, nine interceptions, 39 takeaways for 4A 1st team all-stater

Defender: Will Derrick, Pine Creek, sr. Defender shared team lead with 16 ground balls and led with 12 takeaways

Defender: Parker Samelson, Cheyenne Mountain, sr. 83 ground balls and 18 takeaways for 4A all-state honorable mention

Defender: Ben Self, Air Academy, jr. First team all-state in 4A with 16 ground balls and five INTs

Goalie: Caleb Espinoza, Palmer, so. All-state honorable mention in 5A with .682 save percentage (third in state regardless of class) and 11-4 record

Second team

Attack: Andrew Back, Lewis-Palmer, sr.

Attack: Alex Greenly, St. Mary's, jr.

Attack: Carter Jensen, Palmer, so.

Midfielder/Attack: Mitch Paige, Cheyenne Mountain, jr.

Midfielder: Grant Helwig, Lewis-Palmer, sr.

Midfielder: Tyler Anderson, St. Mary's, sr.

Midfielder: Noah Smith, Palmer, so.

Defender: Isaac Atencio, Palmer, so.
