While skies will stay sunny in Colorado Springs, temperatures are expected to decline into the weekend, meteorologists say.

"Thursday will be our last really warm day for a few days," Gazette news partner KKTV reported. "Friday will be about 15 degrees cooler than Thursday. High temperatures will end up in the 60s and 70s, but there will still be a lot of sunshine."

The National Weather Service in Pueblo predicted highs of 78 degrees Thursday, 66 degrees Friday and 65 degrees Saturday. Skies are expected to be sunny each day.

On average, highs are 64 degrees Oct. 12, 13 and 14, weather service data show.

"Sunday will be the coolest day out of the next several, with high temperatures in the 50s and 60s," KKTV reported. "There will be plenty of sunshine though, so it will still be quite nice."
