A 17-year old male was taken to a local hospital after sustaining a non-life threatening gunshot wound Sunday, police said.

Colorado Springs police responded to a shooting on Monica Drive West, near Drennan Road and north of Milton E. Proby Parkway, at 2:50 p.m. Sunday.

The victim, a juvenile, suffered a gunshot to the leg and was taken to Memorial Central Hospital by ambulance where he was listed in stable condition, police said.

No suspects were taken into custody, but police said the investigation is ongoing.
