DENVER — Authorities have released the name of a teenager who was killed in a hit-and-run crash in the Denver suburb of Wheat Ridge.

KUSA-TV reports (http://on9news.tv/1g0JdCS ) 18-year-old Jordan Sprouse, who was killed in the accident Friday, was supposed to graduate from Long View High School this month. He also was considering joining the military.

Police arrested 23-year-old Alton Kirkland on Friday night on charges of felony menacing and vehicular homicide. He is accused of causing the three-car collision and fleeing the scene, leaving an injured woman and two children in his own car and Sprouse dead in another car.
