Colorado Springs police arrested a female juvenile they say was suspected to be under the influence of LSD and allegedly broke into a home early Monday.

Police responded to a residence about 1:17 a.m. on the 800 block of South Cedar Drive, off East Fountain Boulevard, for a burglary in progress. According to police, the minor forced her way into a home and hit an officer in the face when they took her into custody.

The juvenile was taken to Memorial Hospital for precautionary measures and then booked into Spring Creek Youth Services Center.
