Teen punches, robs another teen in southeast Colorado Springs

A teenage boy was robbed about 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Hill Park Apartments in the 4000 block of East Pikes Peak Avenue, near North Academy Boulevard,Colorado Springs police said.

The suspect, described as an African-American teenage male about six feet tall, punched the victim repeatedly before robbing him of cash and other valuables, police Sgt. Jennifer Lewis said. The victim did not know robber, who left in a green, four-door car.

The victim suffered minor injures, was treated at the scene and released
