Yield: 16 servings

1 round sourdough bread loaf, unsliced 8 ounces Cheddar cheese, shredded 6 strips bacon, cooked and diced 1/2 cup butter 1 tablespoon dry ranch dressing mix

Procedure:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

With bread knife, slice loaf from side to side in both directions, leaving about an inch between slices. Make sure that you don't cut all the way through the bottom of the loaf.

Stuff cheese and bacon between the cuts.

Melt butter, combine it with ranch dressing mix and drizzle over the loaf.

Wrap loaf in aluminum foil and cook for 20 minutes or until cheese is melted.
