Police arrested two men after an attempted traffic stop about 1:30 a.m. Monday spurred a car chase.

When police tried to stop a silver BMW SUV that had been reported stolen out of Lone Tree, the driver fled and then crashed the BMW into a curb at North Carefree Circle and West Carefree Circle, police said.

Several suspects exited the car and ran. Caught and arrested on suspicion of auto theft were Andrew Thomas, 20, and E'majin Willis-Tejan, 18. Both had unrelated warrants out for their arrest.
