DENVER (AP) — Homeless veterans can get referrals to a range of services at the annual Homeless Veterans Stand Down in Denver.

The Department of Veterans Affairs event takes place Thursday at the Colorado Army National Guard Armory.

Veterans who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless can get information on benefits, housing and jobs.

More than 600 veterans participated last year.

The Homeless Veterans Stand Down runs from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at 5275 Franklin St. in Denver
