Police are looking for man and women who allegedly tried to steal from a J.C. Penney store at The Citadel mall and then fled after flashing a gun at employees last month, police said.

Employees had attempted to stop the woman from leaving the store when the man she was with brandished a gun and demanded they let her go, according to Colorado Springs police.

The pair fled the mall in what police describe as a silver Chrysler sedan.

Anyone with information about the crime or the suspects can contact the police department at 444-7000 or call Pikes Peak Area Crime Stoppers at 634-STOP (7867).
