CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. (AP) — Tourist missions at the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex are going to last a little bit longer.

Officials at the visitors' complex say operating hours will be extended by two hours from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. through August.

The center was closing at 5 p.m.

Visitors to the center can view the space shuttle Atlantis, go on a shuttle launch simulation ride and meet veteran astronauts.
