The southbound lanes of South Circle Drive have reopened after a rollover crash near Monterey Road.

The lanes were closed for about three hours as Colorado Springs police investigated the crash.

Police said the driver of a white pickup truck and a passenger were both injured. One of them was ejected from the vehicle, but it's unclear which one.

Both people were taken to the hospital and are in serious condition, police said.

The wreck happened at noon Thursday when the truck, pulling a trailer full of asphalt, rolled over and landed on its roof.

Colorado Springs Fire Department crews had to extricate one of the truck's occupants and confirmed the other was ejected.

Police said the cause for the wreck has not been determined.

Drivers are advised to avoid the area and expect delays in traffic.
