A woman was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence early Tuesday in south Colorado Springs after she allegedly caused a car wreck that injured her and another driver, police said.

Irina Vorobieva, 55, was traveling south in a white Toyota 4Runner on the 3100 block of Broadmoor Valley Road, west of Colorado 115 about 12:30 a.m. when police said she abruptly turned left in front of a northbound red Nissan Sentra.

Vorobieva suffered moderate injuries and the Nissan's driver had minor injuries, said police spokeswoman Lt. Catherine Buckley.

According to court records, Vorobieva was previously cited for DUI in February of this year and last October.
