A solider from Fountain stationed at Fort Campbell on the Kentucky-Tennessee border died of injuries suffered during a Sunday motorcycle crash, Gazette news partner KKTV reported.

Pfc. Jordan White, 20, was an infantryman with 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division, KKTV reported.

White was riding a motorcycle in Clarksville, Tenn., when he rear-ended a Chrysler minivan, which was stopped and attempting to turn, The Leaf-Chronicle reported. He suffered major head wounds and was taken by helicopter to a hospital, where he died.
