SUMMIT COUNTY – Bella the Chihuahua was lost for more than two days after she jumped out of her human's vehicle while traveling along Interstate 70 just past Silverthorne, 9News is reporting.

Someone spotted Bella's escape from the vehicle Saturday afternoon as the car she was traveling in headed westbound on the Interstate.

Deputies slowed traffic as animal control searched for the dog, but they could not locate Bella, who was sporting a pink sweater when she escaped.
