SALT LAKE CITY Drew Pomeranz held the Salt Lake Bees to three hits and one run in six innings and had plenty of run support in a 9-3 victory Tuesday.

Pomeranz struck out seven and walked three to move his record to 4-0 with a 2.54 ERA.

The Sky Sox wasted no time, batting around and scoring four runs in the first. Charlie Culberson had a two-run double. The Sky Sox built a 9-1 lead until the Bees scored twice in the eighth.

The top four Sky Sox in the batting order combined for 11 hits, seven runs and five RBIs. Greg Golson is off to a stirring start with a .545 average and five RBIs in his 11 plate appearances.
