Omaha (Triple-A affiliate of the Kansas City Royals) visits Colorado Springs for a five-game series starting Wednesday against the Sky Sox. Here’s a look at the top prospects to track while the Storm Chasers are in town for games at 6:40 p.m. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, 4 p.m. on Saturday and 1 p.m. on Sunday:

Josh Staumont, RHP
Generally seen as the top arm in Kansas City’s mostly depleted system, Staumont has shifted to the bullpen this season in an attempt to best utilize an arsenal that includes a 100-mph fastball but career-long struggles with control. It has worked so far, as he has a 1.34 ERA and 12 strikeouts in 6 2/3 innings.

Hunter Dozier, 3B
The Royals’ first-round pick (No. 8 overall) in 2013 has embarked on a meandering journey through the minors. He seemed on track when he hit .294/.357/.506 (AVG/OBP/SLG) for Omaha in 2016, but he’s still at this level and has struck out 54 times in 40 Triple-A games dating back to last season.

Richard Lovelady, LHP
Another intriguing bullpen arm, the lefty with an unorthodox delivery holds a 1.65 ERA over 98 1/3 career minor league innings with a .186 opponents batting average as he has shot through the system since being taken in the 10th round in the 2016 draft.
