TUCSON, Ariz. - Colorado Springs spread its runs over six innings in a 6-2 victory over the Tucson Padres late Saturday night.
The Sky Sox scored single runs in the first, second, fifth, sixth, seventh and eighth innings. Tucson scored in the fourth and fifth.
Catcher Jose Gonzalez was 2 for 2 with a triple and three RBIs. Charlie Culberson had three hits, an RBI and a run. Hernan Iribarren had two hits. Tyler Colvin also had a triple and scored a run.
Picher Collin McHugh picked up the victory by allowing one earned run in six innings on five hits and six strikeouts.
