Sky Sox lose 10-3 in Sacramento

SACRAMENTO, Calif. - The Colorado Springs Sky Sox lost to the host River Cats 10-3 late Tuesday night.

Charlie Culberson hit a leadoff first-inning homer, but it was all Sacramento after that until the ninth inning.

Colorado Springs got two runs in the ninth with Reid Brignac and Culberson delivering RBI singles. Every Sky Sox starter had a hit except for Corey Dickerson.

Jeff Manship took the loss, allowing five runs in five innings.

Sacramento tacked on five runs in the eighth to make it a blowout victory.
