DENVER — A shooting star over Colorado has prompted multiple inquiries from witnesses.

The meteor streaked across the sky a little before 9:30 p.m.

North American Aerospace Defense Command officials tell The Denver Post (http://tinyurl.com/q5hzsnf ) the shooting star was a remnant of the Orionids meteor shower, which peaked Oct. 21.
