The second man wanted in connection with the kidnapping and shooting of a 20-year-old woman on the west side of Colorado Springs in December was arrested Wednesday, Colorado Springs police said.

Jorge Luis Pilo Hernandez, 36, was found at a home on the 2000 block of Capulin Drive in southeast Colorado Springs.

The other suspect, Hamilton Lee Sullivan, 20, was arrested on Jan.3.

Sullivan and Hernandez were sought for suspicion of 1st degree kidnapping and 1st degree attempted murder, after the wounded victim was found by a passerby near North 7th and Bijou streets on Dec. 28. She had been assaulted and shot in the head, police said.

The woman was taken to a hospital for treatment, and as her condition improved, she provided police with information that led them to Sullivan and Hernandez.
