At Thomas Jefferson: Behind its second-highest offensive output of the season, Mitchell (1-5) notched its first victory, snapping a five-game losing streak with a win over Thomas Jefferson (2-3).
Led by Preston Williams' 197 yards rushing, the Marauders rushed for 231 yards on 41 carries to dominate on the ground. Williams also scored twice on the ground, and TJ Conklin and Andre Savoy also ran for scores.
The Marauders trailed 12-8 heading into halftime. But a 14-point third quarter put the Marauders in front for good.
Pine Creek 42, Liberty 0
At D20 Stadium: Scott Savage rushed for a touchdown and caught a touchdown and quarterback Tommy Lazarro threw for two scores as 4A No. 2 Pine Creek (3-2 overall, 2-0 Pikes Peak League) scored all 42 points in the first half against Liberty (1-4, 0-2).
Lazarro hooked up with Savage on a 25-yard score for the Eagles' opening touchdown before finding Austin Meachum on a 24-yard score in the second quarter.
Austin Schultz, Kamden Atkins and Avery Anderson also rushed for scores.
The Eagles take on Falcon next week in a battle of teams unbeaten in conference.
Hanover 26, Bethune 36
At Bethune: Bethune (3-2) scored 16 straight points over the third and fourth quarters to pull away from Hanover and hand the Hornets (4-1) their first loss of the season.
Simla 72, Miami-Yoder 6
At Miami-Yoder: Simla (5-0, 2-0 8-man Black Forest) rushed for 212 yards on just 22 carries and put the game away early against Miami-Yoder (0-6, 0-2).
Ellicott 28, Rye 26
At Ellicott: Ellicott (2-3, 1-2 1A Tri-Peaks) notched its first league win, edging Rye (3-2, 2-1) by two points.

Rampart 11, Lewis-Palmer 7
At Lewis-Palmer: Pikes Peak region 5A No. 1 Rampart (15-2) scored seven runs in the last two innings and then held off a rally by Lewis-Palmer (6-13) to reel off the Rams' 13th consecutive victory.
The Rangers scored four runs in the bottom of the seventh, before Rams starter Alyssa McDowell - seven runs, 1 earned - completed the game.
Kaesha Harper homered, went 3 for 3, scored three times and drove in two runs for the Rams. Madison Gerchow also drove in a pair.
Rampart committed five errors in the win.
Lewis-Palmer did not report stats.
Doherty 8, Coronado 7
At Doherty: Doherty (5-11) blew a two-run lead in the seventh inning, fell behind by a run in the top of the eighth, but scored twice in the bottom half to rally for the win over Coronado (5-12).
Emma Chesire was perfect for the Spartans, hitting two home runs, going 5 for 5, driving in five and scoring three runs. Chesire also doubled twice, falling a triple short of the cycle.
Riley Afshari homered, drove in two and stole a base for the Cougars.
Falcon 14, Pueblo South 4
At Falcon: Mirando Dolsman homered, tripled and drove in four runs to lead Falcon (9-8) past Pueblo South (9-7) in a game called after six innings because of the 10-run rule.
Three other Falcons drove in two runs.
Pine Creek 15, Fountain-Fort Carson 2
At Pine Creek: Alexis Martinez, Leigh Taylor and Kayla Boyd each drove in three runs, as 5A No. 2 Pine Creek (14-3, 3-0 5A CSML) topped Fountain-Fort Carson (1-2, 3-14) in five innings.
Fossil Ridge def. Doherty 25-16, 25-18, 23-25, 25-22
At Fossil Ridge: A night after being swept by Cheyenne Mountain, the 5A defending state champs lost in four games at Fossil Ridge.
5A No. 1 Doherty (10-3) lost consecutive games for the first time since Nov. 5, 2011, during the state tournament.
Haleigh Washington and Gabby Simpson combined for 36 kills, but the rest of the Spartans managed a total of six. Simpson had a game-high 31 assists, while Rachel Staudte had a team-high 13 digs.
Colorado Springs School def. Kiowa 25-22, 25-19, 25-20
At Kiowa: 3A and below No. 2 CSS (12-1, 4-1 2A Black Forest) continues to cruise after dropping its first game of the season.
Behind 14 kills from Kendra Baucom, the Kodiaks swept their second consecutive opponent since falling to Simla on Wednesday.
Baucom also led the team with four blocks. Maddee Morley had team highs in assists (26) and digs (21).
Pine Creek def. Pueblo South 25-17, 25-18, 25-17
At Pueblo South: Mackenzie Swan had eight kills, and Leah De Laurell and Devrie Sombers each had seven, as Pine Creek (8-4) swept Pueblo South (4-9).
Rim Rock Farm XC Classic
At Lawrence, Kan.: The Pine Creek girls' team won the Kansas-based cross country meet with a score of 103, 17 points better than second-place Lawrence (Kan.).
The Eagles placed three girls in the top nine spots, led by Kaliegh Kroeker in fifth in 15 minutes, 22.9 seconds. Gabby Sered finished eighth, and Katie Sered was ninth.
The boys' team finished 29th.
TCA Titan Thunder Invitational
At Fountain Creek Regional Park: The Classical Academy took second in the boys' competition, nine points behind Fort Collins, while the Titans girls' squad placed third, five behind Air Academy who was 56 points behind Fort Collins.
Conner Wilbrun placed third for TCA in the boys' race. Air Academy's Katie Rainsberger was second, more than 30 seconds behind Fort Collins' Lauren Gregory in the girls' race.
Palmer Ridge 3, Regis Jesuit 1
At Regis Jesuit: Palmer Ridge (8-2, 7-1) scored twice in the second half to put the game away.

Cheyenne Mountain 3, Niwot 0
At Niwot: 4A No. 2 Cheyenne Mountain (6-2) blanked Niwot (4-2-1) behind a goal and assist from Sean Halverson and two assists from Spencer Wegner.
Sean Derby and David McDermed also scored.
Peak to Peak 2, Fountain Valley 1
At Fountain Valley: Fountain Valley (6-3) scored the game's first goal in the first half, but Peak to Peak (3-4) got a pair from Justin Kalloor in the second half to secure the win.
Joseph Colarelli scored for the Danes.

At Liberty: Klinton Spencer notched a hat trick and an assist, Ryan Kenyon scored twice and assisted on one, and Tyler Mellinger had a goal and three assists, as Liberty (5-4) blasted Dakota Ridge (1-6) to move above .500.
Andrew Beers also had a goal and two assists for the Lancers.

At the Vanguard School: Robby Jacobs scored twice as 3A No. 1 The Classical Academy (11-0) used a three-goal first half to build an insurmountable lead against Vanguard (4-2).

At Pine Creek: Michael Steffy and Nicholas Farley scored first-half goals and 5A No. 1 Pine Creek (8-1-1) continued to win.
At George Washington: Pine Creek took first place in the four-team Patriot Invitational hosted by George Washington, scoring 45 points, 19 more than the second-place host.
Mullen 6, Lewis-Palmer 1
At Colorado Academy: Mullen won every match except No. 2 singles, where Nolan Rademacher won his three-set match 2-6, 7-6 (0), 7-5.
