US fighter jet missing on training mission

A 31st Fighter Wing United State Air Force F-16 jet fighter lands at the Aviano NATO airbase, in Aviano, Italy, on March 25, 2011.  The headquarters of the 31st Fighter Wing issued a brief statement saying they lost contact with a F-16 fighter with one pilot aboard Monday, Jan. 28, 2013, during a training mission off the coast of Italy.
