Colorado Springs police and State Patrol troopers responded to a rollover crash on the Briargate Parkway overpass, near the Promenade Shops on Monday morning.

The driver was temporarily trapped in the vehicle and suffered minor injuries, the Colorado Springs Fire Department said in a news release.

Lt. John Godsey said the crash was reported at 6:55 a.m. Monday on the 1500 block of Briargate Parkway.

Southbound lanes of Highway 25 and eastbound lanes of Briargate Parkway were closed until the vehicle was cleared at 7:55 a.m., police said.
