Road work will shut down North Cheyenne Canon Park between the park's entrance and the Helen Hunt Falls parking area on Wednesday, according to a Facebook post by the City of Colorado Springs Regional Parks, Trails and Open Space.

The closure will be from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday.

"Please respect these closures for your safety," the organization said in the post. "There will be heavy equipment working along the roadway." The park's entrance is located near the Starsmore Visitor and Nature Center, 2120 S. Cheyenne Canon Rd., Colorado Springs.
