The treasure that is John Fielder's Colorado seen through his nature photography gets its due on a giant screen as it's set to the music of John Denver.
With "Sunshine on My Shoulders," John and John paint a musical panorama focusing mainly on Fielder's newest project, "Denver Mountain Parks." A portion of ticket sales will, in fact, go to the Denver Mountain Parks Foundation.
Though the sounds are undeniably John Denver's, they'll be performed by musician John Adams, who's so close in sound to the man he once performed with it's impossible to tell them apart.
The evening is a sensory treat and a beautiful inside glimpse into what makes the Colorado open space and wilderness so breathtaking. Fielder knows his subject intimately; he has worked for years for the protection of the subjects of his photos.
