PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) — The Rhode Island Public Transit Authority is operating on a limited schedule on Labor Day.
The agency will run all regular fixed-route RIPTA buses and trolleys on a Sunday or holiday schedule on Monday in observance of the holiday.
The RIde program will offer only ADA trips on the holiday. Flex Services will not operate except for Route 210, the Kingston Flex Service. It also will run on the holiday schedule.
RIPTA offices, including the one at Kennedy Plaza in Providence, will be closed.
Regular transit service will resume Tuesday.
