Firefighters extinguished a structure fire at a marijuana grow in Yoder that was spewing smoke early Friday.

Crews were called about 4:30 a.m. to the 3000 block of Fred View Road and dumped over 34,000 gallons of water on the fire. By 7:30 a.m., no flames were visible, but crews stayed on scene to put out hot spots.

The homeowner was able to make it out safely, KKTV said. No injuries have been reported, and no other structures were threatened.

Firefighters told Gazette news partner KKTV they received reports that it was a marijuana grow but did not know whether it was legal.
