Red Rock Church opens Sunday in Tiffany Square

Since its founding in 2006, the congregation of Red Rock Church has worshipped at a hotel and a high school. The church now will make its home at a Tiffany Square location originally designed to house a movie theater.

The church, an affiliate of the Atlanta-based North Point Ministries founded by pastor and author Andy Stanley, son of famed evangelist Charles Stanley, celebrates its official grand opening Sunday at the new site on Corporate Drive.

Led by Pastor Paul Reichart, the congregation originally met at the former Adams Mark Hotel (now the Antlers Hilton) and then, for six years, at Pine Creek High School.

"We are excited about better space for bigger influence within our community. It is our desire to be a church for the whole city and this location will allow us that privilege," Reichart said. "One of our main goals is to help those who don't normally attend church connect with their heavenly Father by taking away many of the barriers that cause people to disconnect from church."

Services at Red Rock Church incorporate live music performances as well as practical teachings by Andy Stanley, whose weekly sermon series, "Future Family," explores today's Christian family realities against perceived biblical expectations.
