An 18-year-old man accused of soliciting underage girls for sex allegedly targeted more than 100 females on Facebook, court documents say.
Investigators said one of two Facebook accounts registered to Steven Douglas Leeper contained evidence that dozens of females, including a 15-year-old and a 17-year-old, had been offered cash in exchange for pictures of feet, nude photos, explicit videos and sex.
Investigators allege that Leeper blackmailed one underage victim and targeted another underage girl who said she was a runaway from home and desperate for money.
Investigators documented Leeper's correspondence with both of the alleged victims through Facebook messages they obtained, though it's not clear from court documents whether the suspect was behind all of the messages.
One victim, whom investigators said communicated with Leeper for about a year, told police that she sent him pictures of feet, and later a picture of herself naked, which he promised not to share.
The Facebook messages, which are quoted in court documents, said Leeper insisted on having her send him the picture and later a video, and that he offered to pay $105 for a picture, or $175 for a video, court documents said.
Messages in the court documents also allege that Leeper tried negotiating a $200 deal to pay for a video, a nude photo, phone sex, a lap dance, and "maybe more."
The victim told police that the two had met once in June, and that Leeper offered to pay $25 to $50 for sex during the meeting.
The same month, Leeper allegedly offered her $400 for a video, which she declined to send. When he didn't get it, he alledgedly threatened to distribute a naked picture of her, court documents said.
The girl later told police that naked pictures of her had been posted on her Facebook page at least three times.
A second victim told police that Leeper asked her if she needed money early on in their Facebook conversations, and allegedly offered $250 for oral sex, court documents said.
The victim told police she agreed to give Leeper oral sex when he offered to let her hold his debit card as collateral. She told police after their third meeting, they didn't meet again, and that he never answered requests for payment.
Leeper was arrested Wednesday on suspicion of sexual exploitation of a child, solicitation for child prostitution, inducement of child prostitution, patronizing a prostituted child, internet luring of a child, contributing to the delinquency of a minor and criminal extortion, police said.
He was being was held at the El Paso County jail with a first appearance scheduled for Feb. 18, court records show.
